The dimensions of the product are10.2 x 65.8 x 55.8 inches, and it weigh 68 pounds. As the name says it comes in cherry finish and made of composite wood. The headboard is pretty tall and it is actually great, because you can keep something special right at hand when you need it or you can simply have it just when you sleep. I have got a rare vase gifted me by a friend and I keep it there – very nice! Actually this headboard really gives your bedroom a stylish look; since it offers you a good storage place, you can keep books or just everything you want there.

This bookcase headboard has a slanted design which may look unusual at the first look, but once you place it in your bedroom, it really looks wonderful. It adds something elegant to the whole feel of the room. I don’t know; it’s just what I feel about it.

The headboard structure is not even; there are 8 compartments of different size to offer you various ways to keep things. If you need a twin bookcase headboard, it is also available. Besides cherry finish, there are Black and Espresso finish as well.

If you need a really large size, sorry, as far as I know there is no such. Another possible downside is the base molding, which creates a gap between the wall and the unit, which sometimes makes you feel that the headboard does not stand firmly. Anyway this was not a big deal for me, and now it perfectly fits both my bed and my bedroom.

If you are looking for bookcase headboard beds for kids, consider buying this headboard; its size allows its usage with the majority of kids beds (with the exception of bunk beds and loft beds, I guess).
