Where To Get Upholstered Tufted Beds For Sale?

I found it a bit difficult to find upholstered tufted beds for sale; not sure why, but it seems that not many models available for sale online. Of course, the situation can be quite the opposite when buying offline, but since I prefer to shop online, hence I’m speaking about online availability of beds with tufted headboard.

Finally I found a model I liked – Skyline Furniture Surrey Full Shantung-Upholstered Tufted Bed. I need to say that I had not been familiar with Skyline tufted beds before. So, what can I say about this particular model?

It was listed on Amazon at $605.50, but I got it at a discounted price of $458.45 (BTW, the discount is STILL available!). So the total saving is $147.05!

The bed looks fine; I think it will be able to blend with many environments just because of its particular design, which is not complicated but rather very simple but elegant. I think tufted beds are better set against a wall; at least their design seems to me like it should be that way.

The bed supports standard-size box spring steel bed frame, and the tufted headboard is made of solid wood and covered with polyurethane foam. The headboard has a slight arch and it is said to come in many colors and sizes.

The bed weights 80 pounds and its dimensions are 56 x 4 x 51 inches. The shipping weight is less – 33 pounds; you will need to assemble the bed when it arrives. How the bed looks like you can see on the picture in this review. The bed is spot clean only, but I wouldn’t say it is too much prone to get dirty. Anyway, I’m a more or less neat man.

The headboard is easy to attach to the main bed frame; it is made of solid wood with polyurethane foam padding, and is upholstered in shantung; just as the bed above it is only spot clean, and has to be assembled. The weight is 34 pounds, and 36 pounds is the shipping weight.

The look of the headboard gives you a good deal of coziness when you lay on the bed. It somehow makes you feel more comfortable in your bed, I don’t know. The only thing I don’t like much is that the legs of the headboard are somewhat visible, but ultimately it is not something to really worry about.

Some people do not like to assemble furniture, especially beds. But I need to say that this headboard was pretty easy to assemble – I’m not sure but I think it took me around 20 minutes only to get it done (in my bed – see above, it’s just the same headboard there). There may be some gap between the bed and the mattress, but you can easily solve it by using pillows.

I really happy with my tufted headboard bed; as I said, you can purchase either the complete bed, or just a headboard and attach it to your current bed. Either way will add a lot to your bedroom feel and look.
